Shoeboxes for May

Get ready for the new age group! In the month of May, we will be collecting for BOYS AND GIRLS Age 5-9. Check out the additions to the Nursery Door next Sunday. There will also be a master list of items that you can purchase.

Fellowship Supper April 30th

Wednesday night is eatin’ meetin’. What better way to enjoy Christian fellowship than over a good home cooked meal. Cook up your favorite Baptist 9x13 recipe and come join the fun. See everyone Wednesday night beginning at 6:00.

Georgia Baptist Children's Home

The month of May has been set aside for supporting the Georgia Baptist Children’s Home Ministry. If you would like to help, please give your donation to John.  Make sure to designate it as going to the Children’s Home. John will compile all monies given at the end of the month and place it on a credit card to be sent to the Children’s Home.

Shoeboxes

On the Nursery Door are “raindrops” which are items needed for Boys/Girls ages 2-4 shoeboxes. You are more than welcome to take the “raindrops” off the door for purchasing your items. Purchased items can be placed in the container in the vestibule. On the table in the vestibule, you will also find a list of items needed for Boys/Girls ages 2-4.

Wanderer's Trip

Mark your calendars for Thursday, April 17th. The church will be taking the van to Bea's Restaurant in Rossville. We will leave the church at 5:00. Hope to see everyone!

Multimedia Changes

Facebook has sent out a notification that after 30 days it will “erase” our livestream church services. Rick will continue to post our livestream service to the Face Book page. In addition, he will be posting the service to YouTube. You will be able to view the service from that platform by searching BETHELBAPTIST4068. or by searching BETHELBAPTISTCHICKAMAUGA. Be sure to “subscribe” to the YouTube page.

Wanderer's Trip

It was decided that the Wanderer’s would go back to Bailey’s BBQ in Ringgold for supper. We will leave the church at 5:00 on Tuesday, March 18th. We always have a great time of fellowship around the table. There is a sign-up sheet in the vestibule. This will let us know how many are going and are going to ride the church van.

Happy Anniversary

With hearts full of gratitude and joy, we celebrate Bro. Dean and Carol on their 52nd Wedding Anniversary this week. We are blessed by the beautiful testimony of your marriage. May the Lord continue to bless you with more wonderful years. 

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

In the month of March we will begin our Annie Armstrong Easter Offering emphasis. The goal this year has been set at $2,000.00. Your generous gift helps support thousands of missionaries across North America as they plant churches, share the gospel, and meet the needs of people in diverse communities. Every dollar given goes directly to missions, making a lasting impact on the lives of individuals and families. Pray about how God would lead you to give this Easter season.

Law Enforcement & First Responders Sunday

Join us for a special Law Enforcement Sunday next week, February 9th, as we honor and pray for the brave men and women who serve and protect our community.Glorybound will be singing for us during the worship service.Following the service, we will enjoy a covered dish lunch in the fellowship hall. Bring your favorite dish to share and enjoy a time of fellowship with our church family and honored guests.

The time has finally arrived! Wednesday night is our eatin’ meetin’. Time to fill those Baptist casserole dishes and enjoy time around the table with our church family. Supper will begin at 6:00.

Law Enforcement Service

Next Sunday, January 12th, we will be recognizing our area’s first responders. Special music will be provided by Glorybound Quartet, a gospel/devotional/spiritual group from Canton GA. There will be a covered dish lunch following the morning worship service.

Thank you church for graciously giving to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. The offering total for this year was $2055.00. That means that we exceeded our goal that was set at $2000.00.

Today is the last Sunday that you can give to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Please help support our international missionaries around the world.

The Christmas Card Post Office is officially open! The cost to “mail” your in-house cards will be $0.50 for each card. All money collected from the post office will go towards this year’s goal of $2,000.00.

DeAnne has composed a Christmas card list for you to pick up. It is on the table in front of the mailbox.
